"Doubling of the bottom of the frame."
Comments
This stamp is from Marler's personal collection, but does not seem to match his description for 11UL40. While there is very faint doubling along the bottom frame, the doubling of the right frame is stronger.
Leo's Notes
Re-entry (in Marler, but not fully described).
- Doubling along the outside of the right frame
- Doubling along the outside of the bottom frame below the LNB and the right side of the RNB
- Marks in the top margin above the UL spandrel
- Faint marks in the E in POSTAGE
- Mark in the UR corner of the RNB
- Doubling of the 2 in the RNB (obscured by heavy inking on the proof)
There is a retouch on the same stamp not mentioned by Marler: - UL horizontal line is malformed
- The UL horizontal lines below the top one are thick
