As Leo notes, the 'guide dot' on the example dated DE 03, (19)22 is almost certainly ink splatter.

The subjects on plate 20 are supposed to be design type O8. 20UL5 on the proof does indeed have Marler's characteristic for type O8 - wide breaks in the vertical line of the RNB. But on Claude's stamp, the vertical line is unbroken. As Marler suggests on page 240, this subject must have been among those that were retouched after the proof was made.
