2¢ Carmine 11UR61
"Doubling in the top and bottom of C and A and below CA, with a short line below N and another in the middle arm of E"
Matte lists marks in:
- 1 'CA'
- 2 Interior Oval Space
Comments
Simon Young has provided a second example, which shows that the mark in the 'T' of Cents is constant.
There is a very similar re-entry of Marler Type R1, where slight differences in the marks in the 1st 'A' of Canada and of the line in the inner oval below 'CA' are discernible.
Leo's Notes
- Doubling in the top and bottom of C and A and in the left inner oval below CA and, weakly, below N. Straight line at the top of the A.
- Short line in the middle arm of E and smudges in the vertical member.
